I'm excited to announce another restaurant is now open in Lubbock. The Reserve Culinary Tavern, from the team who worked for Nick's Sports Bar and Gator's Bayou, had their grand opening last Friday and is ready to serve the community.

Back in June 2020, after almost 10 years of serving Lubbock, Nick's Sports Bar closed their doors permanently and the city was shocked. Nick's was a staple sports bar and we were all sad when it closed its doors. I'm hoping The Reserve will be just as good -- or maybe even better. By the looks of it, I think it will be.

From looking at their menu, they offer a wide range of things. Some items that caught my eye: pickle brined wings, Italian eggrolls, and beef short rib ragu. I mean how cool are those options?

From pictures and videos I've seen, they have lots of TVs to watch your favorite sports games and the drinks look great. Plus, I love the location.

I mean can we talk about how good just that picture looks? I am getting hungry just looking at it. They said it is a jalapeño cheddar burger with chicken fried bacon that is right up my alley.

The new spot is located in The Shops at Reserve, located at 10305 Quaker Ave., right next to The Matador. Remember: if you know of any places opening up or coming soon, let me know at kelsee.pitman@townsquaremedia.com.
