Newk’s Eatery Has Finally Set a Grand Opening Date in Lubbock

For years there has been talks that Newk's Eatery was coming to Lubbock but it is finally here and we have a date set. Newk's is a a Mississippi-based fast casual restaurant chain.

Besides the fast-casual café, it will also have an open kitchen concept with things on their menu like sandwiches, soups, salad, pizzas and deserts. Right now there are more than 100 Newk's locations in the United States.

Lubbock will be able to enjoy their great food very soon because they are set to have their grand opening on Friday January 21st and we will be live out there Saturday January 22nd! Don't be scared to come by and say hi.

I have been to a Newk's Eatery in Dallas and it was very good. I would compare the concept and food to a Jason Deli or McAlister's but more of a homemade version. I liked that they have a lot of options and that it is a place where you can enjoy a nice meal there or if you are in a hurry you can still get something healthy and yummy. I think this is perfect for downtown Lubbock and will draw more people down there. Make sure you try and save room for dessert because they do have a good menu for that as well.

Their location will be on the first floor of the west side of McDougal Plaza building located at 1500 Broadway in downtown Lubbock. You can find out more information on their website and they are looking forward to everyone trying it in January.
