Amazon has unveiled a new tablet computer. It's called the Kindle "Fire" and comes with a nice price -- $199. When you compare it to the iPad starting at $499 that's a terrific deal. It won't do as much as the iPad according to this website but the price is bound to turn heads, despite the apparatus doesn't have an embedded camera and microphone. But customers will find WiFi(no 3G) and a 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. The "Fire" is smaller than an iPad, about half the size, weighing 14.6 ounces, and coming with a 7 inch (diagonally-measured) screen. AP News speculates this new entry from Amazon will pressure competitors like Barnes and Noble to break Amazon's dominance in electronic book sales. Amazon sells more than 1 million e books, 100,000 movies and TV shows and 17 million songs. Looks like this new Kindle "Fire" just may heat up the market.
