Need a Christmas Tree? Colorado Project Will Take Care of You!

Last year a Colorado Springs couple had an extra Christmas tree to sell, so posted it on Craigslist and received about twenty responses, most from really needy people. David and Michelle Fein decided to just 'give' it to the one person they felt deserved it the most and then started thinking on how to help the others. Thus, this year the Christmas Tree Project was born. The couple has handed out about 90 fully decorated(!) trees this year and want to giveaway 300 to those in need, so they're looking for a little over 200 more homes. 150 live trees have been donated this year as well as decorations and ornaments which fill the Fein's home.
