Musicians Give Us Song That Celebrates Our Freedoms

I can't remember how long I've known Russ Murphy or David Spears. Russ is former Music Minister at Indiana Ave Bapt. Church where I saw him perform; and David, from Spears Furniture, and I have crossed paths at various music events. Very nice people. Now, these two nice guys have co-written a song celebrating our freedoms.

It was inspired by so many sacrifices our military men and women have made and in particular Shilo Harris, who was severely injured in 2007 while on patrol in Baghdad. Shilo is in fact in talks with Hollywood writer-director J.J. Abrams about possibly making a movie about Shilo's life. The song says it all. The third verse in the song is primarily about Shilo.
