Martial Arts Event Promises Family Excitement [VIDEO]

Friday night at the Fair Park Coliseum will provide fun and thrills for all ages with the South Plains Amateur Mixed Martial Arts show. The theme is "The Second Coming" and you'll see 10 hard-hitting action-packed fights. The main event is a 140 lb Title Fight between Cody Thrasher and Javier Minjrez.

Martial Arts has seen a resurgence in recent years. Even the Summer Olympic games including martial arts categories. Proponents say benefits are not only physical, but also mental and spiritual. And one of the most famous of martial artists, Bruce Lee proclaimed it to be an "art" with complete emotional expression. Tickets are available in advance at all Select-a-Seat locations for $13.50 and $15.00 at the door.
