Lubbock Man Indicted for Aggravated Assault Against Pregnant Girlfriend
Wednesday, March 2, a Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted 30-year-old Jacob Pauda on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges after a domestic dispute on February 8.
LPD responded to the 3300 block of Ithaca Ave. around 2 a.m. in the morning. Pauda’s pregnant girlfriend told police the man punched her repeatedly in the face, kicked her while she was on the ground and, at one point, threatened her with a butcher knife after accusing her of cheating on him.
The woman also told police Pauda used cocaine and admitted to being under the influence of drugs prior to the altercation.
Pauda was arrested and booked in to Lubbock County Jail on February 10.
