Unfortunately, Lubbock's Fly Wild Outfitters has closed their doors for good, according to Lubbock in the Loop and the store's Facebook page.

This popular store carried top-of-the-line fly fishing gear, hats, dry goods and accessories, as well as a barbershop next door.

They posted a very heartfelt message on Facebook on June 2nd, 2020 about the closing. We hope that they will be able to circle back around and reopen.

Here is the goodbye that they posted. They will be missed:

We are sad to say our last goodbyes in this space!! We are so thankful and grateful for everyone that has supported us over the years. The barbershop will also be closing, but feel free to reach out and we can you connected with Debbie!! At this time we are still unsure the direction we will go with our online business and what will be best for our family but stay tuned as we will make a decision in the next few weeks. Please check out and follow our friends new store ... @the.stache.clothing. They have just opened a new men’s store front in Levelland and will carry some of your favorite brands including hats!!! Thank you all again we will miss you!

There were many sad responses from customers on their Facebook page. They carried so many unique items.

You can visit their website at this link for more information. You can also follow this link to check out The Stache in Levelland. It sounds like a great idea for Father's Day shopping.

We're very sad to lose Fly Wild Outfitters, and wish them the very best in their future plans.
