Lubbock's Plain Jane's Fried Pies to Close Their Doors Soon

It's with a sad heart I have to announce another awesome local business is closing its doors.

Plain Jane's Fried Pies just moved into its storefront location back in September 2021 and posted the hard news today, May 13th, 2022, that they will be closing their doors soon.

They said their lease is up in September, so you'll have until then to enjoy their food before they are gone.

Plain Jane's offers the best dang fried pies so if you haven't tried them yet, you really should. It's very flaky and the filling is yummy and rich. You can even get 6 for only $20 -- what a deal.

Here's what the business' owners posted to Facebook about their decision:

"Hey ya'll i know some of you have heard rumors that Plain Janes is closing. It is with a very heavy heart that the rumors are true! Plain Jane's will either be sold or all of our equipment will be sold off individually. We had a great run but have decided to close or sale. Our lease is up in September so we still have a few months selling fried pies...so if anyone is interested in commercial equipment or buying a fried pie business let me know. Thanks Jane"

If you aren't much for sweets, they also offer savory pies and other hearty meals. Each day their menu changes, so there's always something new to enjoy. They offer great desserts that will make your sweet tooth go crazy.
