Lubbock’s Bryan’s Steaks Is Now Open, Here’s What Changed

Back on March 6th, 2023, a fire broke out at one of Lubbock's beloved restaurants, Bryan's Steaks. Since then they have seen an outpour of support.

"I like the steaks. I just thought I would check and see if they are open yet," said Barbara Bray, a frequent Bryan's customer from Plainview.

This restaurant opened more than 50 years ago, spending every day of it serving the Lubbock community.

The owner of Bryan’s Steaks, Bryan Stratton reopened on Saturday, Dec. 23rd at 11 a.m.

So what new renovations and restorations happened for their location? The owner said some changes have been made to make work easier for the employees and dining more comfortable for the customers.

"It has been a blessing seeing the support from our customers. We don't own anything, the Grace of God does," said Stratton.

They have installed a new air conditioning system and even made the salad bar easier to access.

“I don’t think you’ll find a store that’s 56 years old that’s been done like this,” Stratton said.
