On Friday, December 10th, a Lubbock woman says that she was shot at as she was driving away from her home.

It was a bit before 10:40 p.m. that night when the woman was in her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway in the 1900 block of 69th Street. At some point, an unidentified suspect came up to the woman's vehicle and tapped on the window with a handgun.

KAMC News reports that at that point, the woman put her vehicle in reverse and tried to leave. He managed to get to the 6800 block of Avenue S to call 911, but then saw the first suspect, as well as another one by her house. The first suspect then allegedly pointed his handgun towards the victim and fired twice.

The woman then said that she saw 6 suspects running down the south alley of 69th Street.

The victim was said to have been uninjured, but her vehicle was struck by the aforementioned gunfire. As of Monday, December 13th, none of the suspects had either been identified or located.
