41-year-old Nathaniel Blake Tyson of Lubbock was arrested on Friday, March 15th, in connection to a March 11th shooting that sent 1 person to the hospital with moderate injuries.

According to a release by the Texas Anti-Gang Center, Tyson was charged with possession of a controlled substance, theft of a firearm, and multiple felon in possession of a firearm charges.

The shooting initially occurred in the 6100 block of 37th Street on the 11th. Tyson and the victim, a 32-year-old man, allegedly got into a physical altercation that escalated into a shooting.

Tyson was arrested at a home in the 2800 block of 33rd Street. Methamphetamine and multiple guns were discovered in the home.
