Beer, Pokemon Go & Free Tacos Are Coming Together in Lubbock Because the Universe Is Sometimes a Nice Place

September 9th will be a night for trainers to remember, and a night that you will want to avoid driving down Broadway like the plague.

The first 200 trainers to show up outside Crickets get a free taco and the Dos Equis girls will be there. I'm not saying you'll get a free beer, but I am saying that every time I've been around one of these nice ladies I got a free one. It might have something to do with being polite, patient and, of course, over 21.

Over 1,000 people have already RSVP'd for the event, and Texas Tech is not even back in session yet. My prediction is that this is going to be huge.

Organizers are encouraging folks to show up in cosplay and the event is free. There's many PokeStops in the area and you'll get to meet some fellow trainers. You can get more info and RSVP at their Facebook event page.
