Local Group Schedules Second PokeWalk on Broadway Event

After the immensely popular PokeWalk on Broadway in July, another one is now scheduled for August 6th.

The event will start at 7 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. up and down Broadway street in downtown Lubbock. There will also be an after party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Community members are encouraged to come out and join the party while catching an array of Pokemon in the popular mobile game, "Pokemon Go."

There's also the possibility of a Pokemon Stadium Tournament.

The event is free and open to the public. The group meets at the corner of University and Broadway near the Texas Tech University seal.
