Lubbock Animal Services Is Sponsoring a Free Microchip for Pets Event
The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation department is conducting a microchipping and adoption event on Saturday, March 9th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Lubbock Animal Services and will be held at the Simmons Adult Activity Center, located at 2004 Oak Avenue in Lubbock.
It's always a great idea to have your pet microchipped, but don't forget to register and keep your contact information up to date along with your pet's tags. Lubbock Animal Services has self-registering chips as long as the pet owner has a valid email address.
More information about this even can be found online, including a map to the Simmons Community and Adult Activity Centers.
Call 806-767-2708 with questions about the free microchipping event for your pet.
