Jones AT&T Stadium Observes Moment of Silence for Slain TTU Officer Floyd East, Jr. [VIDEO]

In a touching tribute to the fallen Texas Tech police officer who was killed in the line of duty, the entire Jones AT&T Stadium participated in a moment of silence.

The Goin' Band from Raiderland then played a song in East's honor.

Through a terrible situation, Texas Tech has done its best to honor the men and women who protect the campus and students every day. A helmet sticker and a moment of silence may not mean much in the long run, but it's important to honor those who serve.
