Waco, Texas is investigating their first homicide of 2024, and are in immediate need from the public to identify and apprehend an armed and dangerous suspect that is at large at this very moment. The Waco Police Department was first alerted to about 5 AM this morning, and when they arrived at the 200 block of Mary Avenue, they discovered a 41 year old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Waco PD has stated that a large fight broke out before the shooting, and left the still unnamed 41 year old victim shot. Police have zero suspects right now, and are looking for any assistance they can find to track down the killer who is likely still armed and very dangerous.

According to this article with KCEN, the man that was shot died at the scene before he was able to be transported to a local emergency facility. At this time the murder suspect or suspects remain unknown and at large which makes any leads of the upmost importance.

Hopefully the police will receive a lead soon that will assist in apprehending whoever is responsible for this first Waco murder of 2024.
