Everclear, Local H & Sponge To Perform At Lubbock’s Buddy Holly Hall
Everclear is bringing the band's 30th-anniversary Sparkle And Fade Tour to Lubbock's beautiful Buddy Holly Hall, with support from other iconic alternative rock 90s favorites Local H and Sponge.
The show will be held on Saturday, September 20th. Tickets range from $25 to $85.00, and VIP packages, including meet-and-greet opportunities, are available. Be sure you purchase your tickets through Buddy Holly's official seller. Tickets are available now.
Sparkle and Fade has always been my favorite album art from the band, featuring pictures of the core members as little kids. The Cd itself was covered in stars. Makes me miss physical media.
Everclear's Sparkle and Fade was their platinum-selling, major-label debut album with singles "Santa Monica," "Heroin Girl," and "Heartspark Dollarsign." "Santa Monica" still gets regular airplay on rock radio.

Here's what front man Art Alexakis said about the motivation for touring with Sparkle And Fade as the core focus of the performance:
“Sparkle and Fade was not the first album I had made, but it was the album I had wanted to make my whole life. It changed everything for me and Everclear.
Because of its success and lasting impact, this band has survived and prospered for three decades, and this tour celebrating Sparkle and Fade is another way of us saying ‘thank you’ to all of the incredible fans – old and new.
We’re excited to travel the U.S. this fall with our fellow ‘90s brethren Local H and Sponge. In addition to all the hits and fan favorites, we’re going to pretty much play the whole album through the course of the show to commemorate this 30th anniversary. If you are a fan of this record, you do not want to miss this tour!”
Buddy Holly Hall is a beautiful venue and a great place to see a rock show of this caliber. Be sure to get your tickets asap for the best seats in the house.
