Tea people rejoice, one of Lubbock's favorites is adding another location to the area.

Tea2Go was started by Stephanie Chavez and Don Williams. While looking for a new opportunity in 2015, they stumbled onto Tea2Go TeaN’ergy. They loved the idea of helping their community become healthier through the health benefits of their teas.

By 2018, the original Tea2Go TeaN’ergy franchiser was looking to sell. With their own franchise doing well and a passion for growing the company into what they knew it could be, Chavez and Williams purchased the franchise.

There were five operational stores at the time, and Chavez’s and Williams’ teams began creating and implementing updated policies and procedures. Once these policies were in place and working well for those stores, they began thinking about offering the opportunity for new franchisees to grow the company in other towns. Near the end of 2019, Tea2Go TeaN’ergy began franchising and has since grown from five stores to over 20.

Now they have stores across Texas and a lot more to come. Currently in Lubbock, there are six locations with another one opening this week.

They sell loose-leaf teas, energy drinks, and some specialty drinks. When I go I like doing their freshly brewed loose-leaf teas but everything I have had there is good. I really like that they explain what each tea does and helps with and they have a wide range of flavors so there is something for everyone.
