A community college history teacher emailed a student who stuttered to not ask questions in class as it infringes on other students' time. The administrator of County College of Morris in New Jersey verbally reprimanded the teacher and the student has moved to another section of the same class. The insensitivity of the teacher glares here. Particularly when you think of so other many people in history who have struggled yet succeeded despite the problem.

According to this website, people like the great Greek storyteller who gave us his fables,Aesop, was a storyteller, as was another tale teller, Lewis Carroll who led us on stunning journeys in "Alice and Wonderland". International rock star politician of his time,Sir Winston Churchill, was a stutterer. And in the entertainment field, famous stutterers are Marilyn Monroe, Carly Simon, James Earl Jones and of course from country music, Mel Tillis. In the New Jersey situation, the student is glad he's no longer in the spotlight. But I really don't think the verbal reprimand will stop this cold-hearted instructor, and if you lisp, you better not get her class!
