Lubbock is stepping up its ramen game.

Ken Chan Ramen is now open and people are going crazy for their food and service.

This new restaurant is actually started by one of the owners of Hayashi. They say they are "master chef Ken Ryu's signature broth originated from Hakata, Japan."

Honestly, no matter the time of the year or the weather, ramen is always a great choice. You can choose from different meats, things in the bowl, and spice levels.

Ken Chan Ramen says their food sticks out and is different because the pork bone broth cooks for 48 hours before the customers eat it. They even have a "secret sauce" in it.

The reviews and coming in and here are what some people are saying on Facebook.

I went and checked it out when they opened. We got ramen, fried rice, and egg rolls. I am very picky with my egg rolls but these are very good and a must-try.
