Free Carnival Hosted by Lubbock Boys & Girls Club
Thursday afternoon the weather's supposed to cool off a bit. The high is predicted to be BELOW 100 degrees! And that's good news, because there's lots of fun, energetic activities planned.
The Lubbock Boys and Girls Club, John Wilson Branch Community Center at 3221 59th will have a carnival with games, jumpers, face painting, balloon animal art, a raffle and a hot dog barbecue. It takes place from 3-7 p.m. Most of the events are free.
The object is to close out the summer with a fun event, and give people information about the Boys and Girls club and a time to register their child for participation in the center in the fall.
