Elizabeth Taylor and Country [VIDEO]

Country group The Statler Brothers' hit song "Elizabeth" reached #1 on the Billboard charts in 1984. In fact Elizabeth Taylor, who passed away recently, inspired that song. According to AOL's The Boot, the Statler Brothers later performed the song for Taylor in person.
Group member Jimmy Fortune says of Elizabeth, "You see her on TV, and you always hear how pretty she is..I have to say her eyes were some of the most beautiful blue eyes I ever looked into. She was gorgeous."
