They are being predicted to be the newest craze in fine dining desserts. At first look most folks will blow this off as a dumb hoax, but it's not. I am talking about edible helium balloons. They are light to say the least. The helium filled desserts were developed by the Alinea Restaurant in Chicago, Illinois. The strings that tie the balloons are made from dehydrated apples. IF you have a major sweet tooth and are looking for something, well, without a better word, "Light," then you need to take a road trip north and check out these air filled delights.
