Early Voting started Thursday morning for the Lubbock ISD Tax Rate Rollback Election. Lubbock ISD is asking district voters to approve the shift of two cents of property tax revenue from debt service to maintenance and operations. Lubbock ISD Superintendent Dr. Berhl Robertson says the money would be used to fund technology projects.

Early Voting runs through August 26 in advance of the August 30 election date.

Early Voting locations open August 18, through 8pm, include the Lubbock County Elections Office and six different United Supermarkets locations including: 4th and Slide, 50th and Q, 19th and Quaker and 82nd and Boston. Lubbock ISD elementary schools open for Early Voting from 3p-7p on the 18th include: Honey, Miller, Bean and Rush elementary schools, along with Coronado, Lubbock and Estacado high schools.
