Drunks Play Bumper Cars With Handicapped Scooters

The bumper car ride at the amusement park is one of my favorite rides. It's just fun driving your bumper car and slamming it into another bumper car. But some folks have taken it to another level.

In West Monroe Louisiana Police got a call about a disturbance in the local Walmart parking lot. It was about 2:30 in the morning when the store manager told them that there was a group, apparently drunk, playing bumper cars with the handicap scooters.

Police talked with Christopher Butler, who appeared very intoxicated. He told police that he had drank five or six beers and drove in pickup to the store.

The police arrested Butler, but his fellow bumper players got away.
