On a lot of levels, football isn't the same game it used to be. Player safety is a major concern now, but it wasn't always like that. The safety issue is important and absolutely necessary for the future of the game, but that doesn't stop football players from being football players. And once in a blue moon, we still get a brutal hit.

That moment when it all comes together -- the pursuit angle, the speed, the placement of the hit. When all of those things come together, there's an implosion upon impact that leads to a play like this.

From what I can tell, this is a busted PAT that turns into a two-point conversion, but not without a heavy price.

I have watched a lot of football in my life, and I have seen a lot of guys flip over after getting hit in the knees. I have never seen a guy flip over after being hit square in the chest. Not like that. This might be the biggest hit I've ever seen in my life. I've seen a lot of hits. This is up there. I'm having trouble even quantifying what I've seen.

The player flips during this incredible play by the kicker to even get to the goal line.

By the way, the comment section of this video said the kid recovered from the hit and is OK. Kickers are tough. Also, Seminole won the game 33-7, which I guess is the important thing.

That hit, though.

Shoutout to 806 High School Sports for getting this out for people to see. Check him out on Twitter.

Football is alive and well in West Texas.
