Coronado Football Coach Jackson’s Final Is ‘Walk 27′

Our hearts are breaking across the country for the many who lost their lives just days ago. On Friday, the country is standing together to 'Walk 27' in memory of those laid to rest.

On Friday morning a movement called 'Walk 27' will take place where Americans can stand together, literally, and walk for 27 minutes in honor of each person who passed away in Newtown. The official walk starts at 8:30am CT Friday morning.

Tomorrow morning, though, Blake's crew has been invited by Coach Jackson, Head Football Coach for the Coronado Mustangs, to Walk 27 with he and his students as they Walk 27 as a part of their final.

It being the end of the semester and without much of a head's up, Blake and I both feel it doesn't matter when you do it. It truly is one of those situations where it's the thought that counts.

So Thursday morning, at 8:30am Blake and I will be out at Coronado High School for our Walk 27.
