Come see the South Plains Airshow for an action-packed fun-filled family-friendly day of military planes, aerobatic airplanes, food and so much more.

The Texas Air Museum hosts an exciting biannual airshow as part of its mission to keep aviation history alive. The airshow is one of our main sources of fundraising for maintaining and expanding the museum. The Texas Air Museum is a dedicated group of volunteers devoted to restoring, preserving, and sharing the history of military aviation.

Multiple old airplanes from all over are coming from the show. You can see things like Franklin Airshows, Tora Tora Tora, P-40 Warhawk, C-47 Sktrain and so much more. You even get the chance to get up close and personal with real military aircrafts. Here is what you missed from the 2021 year.

They will also have food vendors and the museum open for you to enjoy as well.

Along with the airshow in the Slaton, the Slaton Bakery is also having their 100-year celebration so you get two events for one. The celebration is going on from noon to 6 p.m. and they will have free games, food, samples and so much more.

Gates open for the air show at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 at the Slaton Municipal Airport, 12102 FM 400 #34, Slaton, TX 79364.

Adult tickets are $15, kids ages six to 12 are $10 and kids under 6 are free.

You can get your tickets now on Eventbrite or buy them at the door. For more information head over to their website or call 806-779-7332.
