According to Ron Roberts, MBE, over at KAMC-TV, the latest models are projecting about 5 and 1/2 inches of snow to fall Saturday night, and mostly into Sunday.
On Thursday, August 13th, the weather station at Lubbock International Airport recorded a high temperature of 107 degrees, which ties the record set in 1936.
