Police K-9 Unit Part of “Cars and Canines”

Thank goodness there are people who care about dogs. And thank goodness there are those that like to show off their cars. And those two groups have arranged quite a shindig this weekend. Coming up Saturday, 8-4, on the east side of the Canyon West Center at the PetSmart location is an all day event to benefit the canine crowd. It's called "Cars for Canines" and events range from a car and truck show to a frisbee contest, dog fashion show, to a potty training seminar. There's even a demo by Lubbock Police K9 unit with a Kid's Dog Show topping it off. There are various entry fees for each event with some events being free.
