Carly Pearce Busks at an NYC Subway Station [Watch]
Carly Pearce recently performed on one of the most unusual stages — a subway station platform!
The 29-year-old busked inside of a New York City subway station on Tuesday (Nov. 5) as part of a YouTube series, Subway Creatures, where artists perform by surprise in underground subways.
The "Every Little Thing" singer alerted her New York fans mere hours before her impromptu set would take place.
"It's been SUCH an exciting day," she tweeted. "Wrapping things up in #NYC with a pop-up performance with @SubwayCreatures at 6 pm at the @rockcenternyc Subway Station! If you're in the city, I hope to see you there!"

Pearce performed alongside an acoustic guitar player and percussionist playing the Cajon. The country starlet performed "I Hope You're Happy Now," "Hide the Wine," and "Heart's Going Out of Its Mind" for a small group of fans.
The intimate set had pedestrians stopping to hear the country tunes. This marks the first time Pearce performed her new songs acoustically in a public setting.
Although Pearce has not released a full tracklisting or many details about the upcoming record, the project will be the last full-length album famed producer Busbee was part of prior to his death in September. Pearce has revealed that she will dedicate the album to him to honor his memory. Busbee previously co-wrote her breakout hit, "Every Little Thing."
"The last full record he made & one that I am so very proud of," she adds at the end of her Instagram caption. "Thank you for bringing these songs to life. I can’t wait to honor you and hear/see how people connect to what we created."
