Memorial Vigil for Holli Jeffcoat Brings Dignity to Her Young Life
A candlelight vigil to honor the short life of Holli Jeffcoat was held by her friends and family on what would have been her 19th birthday, May 10, 2016, at Wildcat Park in Idalou.
The candlelight vigil brought dignity, honor, closure and prayers for justice for the friends and family of someone who endured cruelty and torture beyond our imagination.
Holli Jeffcoat was found murdered in her home on February 10, 2016. As horrific details emerged, we saw into the life of the then-18-year-old special needs girl and wept at the tragic abuse she endured and the brutal way in which her life was taken.
Holli may be gone, but the awareness for cases like her's has increased, and hopefully will continue to do so to ensure that no child suffers at the hands of monsters disguised as family or friends ever again.
