New Mobile Caffeination Station Brings a Different Concept to Lubbock
If you want a new way to recharge and get some energy here in Lubbock, this is the spot for you.
A new mobile food truck called Caffeination Station is coming to Lubbock. It may seem familiar to some because they started out in Farwell and Muleshoe. Now, they're moving to the Hub City.
It all started when two lifelong friends, Kenlea and Meredith, were forced out of their respective college towns in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and decided to make the most of their time in lockdown. So they started Caffeination Station in the hopes of spreading caffeine and smiles to their home communities of Farwell and Muleshoe.
Their mobile trailer specializes in gourmet coffee, teas, smoothies, and homemade baked goods, including muffins, cookies and cake. The pair said they're extremely excited to finally be coming to Lubbock.
From all their pictures on Facebook, I can't wait to try out Caffeination Station. They have a wide variety of menu items, and I think this is a special niche we definitely need in Lubbock. There's nothing like fresh-made coffee by a local vendor.
They're currently awaiting approval from the health department for their food permit, so they don't have an exact date on when they are opening. They're hoping to open up by the end of January.
They'll be open at 98th Street and Frankford in the Hope Lutheran Church and School parking lot Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can find out more about them on their Facebook page. They'll even be offering mobile ordering.
