Following the success of the book of the same name, "The Hunger Games" movie is expected to draw record crowds this weekend. You have 18 different times to select from at one movie house. Tinseltown and Cinemark Movies 16 both offering this blockbuster movie.

The music scene continues with Jr Vasquez Friday night at Triple J's Chophouse in the Depot district. Georgia and the Alchemists are there Saturday night. A Christian folk-rock concert will be held Friday at 3707 94th at 7:15 by artist Tara Leigh Cobble. Texas Tech's music theatre stages Mozart's comic operetta, "Cosi Fan Tutte" both Fri. and Sat. nights in the Allen Theatre.

Also on stage enjoy the ageless musical comedy, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" at Lubbock Community Theatre. It runs three weekends. At J&B Coffee House at 26th and Boston, Children and Adults Theatrical Studios is presenting an original melodrama, "My Hero" as a fundraiser for their theatre group. It can be seen either Fri or Sat. And also this weekend at the auditorium is Celebrity Attractions' road show "100 Years of Broadway". Tickets for that are available through Select-a-seat.
