Bikinis for Babies: ‘GMA’ Reports on New Fashion Trend [VIDEO]

‘Good Morning America’ reported on a questionable new fashion trend last week  — “babykinis,” two-piece bathing suits made for children as young as three-months-old.

The makers of the garments claim they’re “cute” and allow for fun photos ops. But, some parents disagree, arguing the swimwear is “inappropriate” and sexualizes children.

Anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, however, seem to have no issue with the tiny beachwear. Roberts handles a pair and finds them adorable. “If I still had a little, tiny baby, I’d buy three or four of them,” agreed Stephanopoulos.
