Country singer and ‘Voice’ co-host Blake Shelton will cover the title track for the upcoming ‘Footloose’ remake, EW.com revealed exclusively on Monday. Shelton is just one of many famous names to appear on the soundtrack. ‘American Idol’ Star Haley Reinhart Scores Record Deal
Haley Reinhart, who finished in third-place on season 10 of ‘American Idol,’ has reportedly landed a record deal, EW.com is reporting. According to the report, the 20-year-old Chicago native has officially been signed to 19 Entertainment/Interscope Records, and is currently at work on her debut album.

Weekend Box Office: ‘Cars 2′ Cruises to Victory
As expected, Pixar’s ‘Cars 2′ easily took first place at the weekend box office, netting a healthy $68 million. That’s about $8 million higher than the original ‘Cars,’ which opened to $60.1 million in 2006.
