Austin 5 Is Now Open in the South Plains Mall

Brand new to Lubbock, Austin 5 is now open in the South Plains Mall.

We had to stop by with a big 'howdy' and see what all the excitement was about. They were glad to share their story with us, and we got some great pictures of the store, which opened Friday, July 20, in the gallery above.

The very first Austin 5 store opened in Austin, Texas about five years ago, they told us. And now, they now have 115 stores open around the country. They tested their most popular items at other stores and have brought those here to Lubbock for us.

The big news is that pretty much everything right now at Austin 5 is only $7.99, and they offer a wide array of clothes and accessories.

They're located just across from American Eagle Outfitters in Lubbock's South Plains Mall.
