All The Details About Chicken Salad Chick’s Opening In Lubbock
Back in January 2024, I told y'all that Chicken Salad Chick, the nation's only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, announces the signing of four new multi-unit franchise agreements that will bring 21 new restaurants to Texas over the next five years.
A couple of months after opening a location in Amarillo, franchisee Laura Garrison and her partner Moua Meng have signed an agreement to expand two locations in Lubbock.
“As our brand awareness and guest loyalty continue to increase, we are seeing a demand in franchise opportunities and tremendous growth for the brand throughout the state,” Scott Deviney, CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, said in the news release. “This momentum is fueling our mission to become America’s favorite place for chicken salad. We are more than humbled to support our existing and new franchise owners throughout Texas as they continue to thrive and push our purpose of Spreading Joy, Enriching Lives, and Serving Others forward to all reaches of the state.”
Chicken Salad Chick serves Southern-style chicken salad made from scratch. With more than a dozen original chicken salad flavors as well as fresh side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and delicious desserts. Founded in Auburn, Alabama by Stacy and Kevin Brown, in 2008, Chicken Salad Chick has grown to more than 255 restaurants in 18 states.
I got to try the Fancy Nancy, Lauryn's Lemon Basil, and Olivia's Old South. I loved them all because they were so different and unique. With so many options there is something for everyone. I want to try some of the spicy flavors next time. I think this is going to be a great addition to Lubbock.
The first location will be at Canyon West off of Milwaukee Avenue at
5015 Milwaukee Ave, Suite 300. Construction has begun on the building and they hope to open in August. We will keep you updated when we learn more.
