In remembrance of those fallen during that tragic time and to celebrate and honor the first responders in the Lubbock Community, Trinity Church will be hosting a service, Forever Remember 9/11 at the United Spirit Arena Sunday, September 11th at 10 a.m. Forever Remember 9/11 is a service for all ages. A designated family area designed for infants or upset children and their parents will be at Club Red on the arena’s East concourse. Guests are advised to prepare for heavy traffic and to plan to arrive early if possible. Doors are scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. Parking is free and will be available in parking lots west of the facility across Indiana Avenue on a first come, first serve basis. These west lots may be accessed from the south by 19th & Texas Tech Parkway to Parkway & Knoxville, or from the north by Marsha Sharp Freeway to Texas Tech Parkway to Knoxville. Large purses and backpacks will not be permitted for this event. All patrons and handbags are subject to visual inspection prior to admission to the arena. Prohibited items must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded; the arena will not provide a storage area for these items. Cameras will be permitted for this event. Patrons may not bring in any outside food or drink.
Prohibited items include:

• Laser pointers/laser pens/flashlights
• Weapons of any kind (knives, tazers, mace, guns, chains, studded/spiked jewelry, etc.)
• Glass containers or cans of any kind
• Large purses and backpacks
• Skate-shoes
• Fireworks
• Noise makers
• Alcoholic beverages
• Outside food and beverage
• Tobacco products of any kind
• Large signs, flags, sticks, poles & banners
• Animals other than aid dogs
• Helium balloons
