Carrie Underwood is the lead nominee for the upcoming 2012 CMT Music Awards with 5 nominations. Miranda Lambert is just behind Carrie with 4 nominations covering both her solo work and with her group the Pistol Annies. In with three nomination a piece are, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascall Flatts, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift and Thompson Square. Little Big Town announced the nominees this morning on NBC's "The Today Show." Fan voting is now open through June 4th at CMT.COM. Awards will be handed out on June 6th on CMT and CMT.COM. The 5 finalist for Video Of The Year will be announced at the beginning of the Awards and fans will be able to vote during the length of the show. Here are the nominees:
