William Clark Green Tests Positive for COVID-19, Cancels Lubbock Show
William Clark Green has tested positive for COVID-19 and just canceled his Lubbock 4th of July concert at Cook's Garage.
It's with the utmost concern for everyone's safety that Green has canceled this big weekend's event. Tickets are being refunded as of today (June 30th).
This is what Green shared on his Facebook page:
Unfortunately, we are having to cancel the July 4th show at Cook’s Garage in Lubbock TX. I received a positive test for COVID-19 and, while I feel fine, we can not risk spreading the virus.
We all take the safety of the fans, band, crew and the staff at Cook’s Garage very seriously and cannot risk exposing anyone to the virus.
I want to be playing shows for you as much as anyone does and cannot wait to be back doing what I love. Please stay safe, healthy, and have a great holiday weekend.
Ticket refunds will be available through the original point of purchase. Thanks, William
We're grateful that Green is still feeling fine. Our thoughts and prayers are with him for a speedy recovery.
From the Cook's Garage website, it's been announced that all tickets will be refunded Tuesday afternoon (June 30th). This highly anticipated 4th of July Bash also included 6 Market Boulevard, Ross Cooper, and Cole Barnhill and The Boys.
In addition to the concert, a swap meet was planned earlier in the day and fireworks were scheduled. We hope some of these will still take place. We've reached out to Cook's Garage for a further update.
