Why Not Create it and Crate It?! This Father’s Day

Forget the bag or the box- why not crate it this Father's Day?!

I was strolling through the internet looking for unique Father's Day gift ideas when I came across a company that makes up crates of 'stuff' for guys. What a cool idea!  And then I got to thinking about a do-it-yourself version of this idea that could take it to the next level!

Why not take a plain wood crate (you can purchase anywhere) and turn it into a bit of an art project especially for Dad? You could put everyone in the family's hand/footprints on it, shellack some great pictures on it, or maybe visit a local spot like Board and Brush to give it a creative artsy flair and then stuff it with all of Dad's favorites!
