Who Won ‘Dancing with the Stars’? [SPOILER, VIDEO]

We started out 10 weeks ago with 12 couples. A few shocking eliminations later, it was down to three: Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff, and Ricki Lake and Derek Hough.

So who took home the big prize of that shiny mirrorball trophy?

After each couple danced again for another score from the judges, those scores were combined with the judges’ scores from Monday. That along with the audience call-in vote provided a third-place finisher — Ricki and Derek.

No one can really argue that Rob is most-improved for the season, but even with the formidable Kardashian machine in his corner, it simply wasn’t enough to overcome J.R’s consistently excellent performances week in and week out.

And so actor and war veteran J.R. Martinez became this season’s ‘DWTS’ champ — and in the process, gave his partner Karina Smirnoff her first win as a longtime pro on the show.

Congrats to them both. Well deserved!
