A new interactive map shows multiple categories related to global warming and what people are thinking around the country.

It seems Texas is in the middle of the debate and around the national average in most categories. It's no surprise as you go further north the opinions change.

Here are some of the report's findings:

  • 63 percent of Texans think global warming is happening
  • 49 percent of Texans think global warming is caused by human activities
  • 54 percent of Texas are worried about global warming
  • 44 percent of Texans think global warming is hurting us already
  • 61 percent of Texans think global warming will hurt future generations.
And around the nation:
  • 63 percent of the people in the USA think there is global warming
  • 48 percent believe global warming is caused by human activity
  • 52 percent of adults in the USA are worried about global warming
