What You Need to Know for JAB Fest 2018 This Weekend
Heeeere we go! The big weekend we look forward to each year is finally here, and we've got a few vital things that you'll want to remember for JABFest 2018.
First of all, the line up of artists is tremendous. This year, Randy Rogers Band will headline Friday night, with Parker McCollum, Grant Gilbert and Kaitlin Butts opening the show. On Saturday, October 6th, 2018, Josh Abbott Band headlines, along with Casey Donahew, Mike Ryan, Randall King, Charlie Shafter and Jordan Robert Kirk.
A sell-out is pretty much guaranteed, so if you don't have your tickets yet, you'll want to high-tail it to this website and buy your tickets now. You definitely don't want to wait until the day of the show.
Parking! You will want to get there early for parking and think about carpooling (or maybe a taxi/Uber?), because that Lonestar Amphitheater (602 E.19th Street, Lubbock) parking lot gets plumb packed at JAB Fest.
You can opt for VIP treatment, and it's well worth it. VIP tickets are still available, and include a JAB Fest T-shirt, the best views around (with seating and shade!), a JAB Fest laminate, private bar, and VIP port-a-potties.
On Friday, gates open at 6 p.m., and on Saturday, they open at 4 p.m. Look for myself, Jan, waving at you with the Lonestar 99.5 truck. I'll have some Lonestar 99.5 giveaways up for grabs.
You can save some money when you buy both nights -- again, well worth it, for two incredible line ups two big nights! It's Josh Abbott Band's one and only annual JAB Fest. We'll see y'all there. Woo-hoo!
