What was the very first "Country" concert that you attended. Maybe at that point and time folks still called it "Country and Western." My first concert was at the Lubbock Fair Park Coliseum . My mother took me to see Eddie Arnold and I will never forget him singing "The Cattle Call." Those times influence your life later on in many ways. My first concert as an adult was quite the "swinging event." Waylon Jennings and special guest Alvin Crow and the Pleasant Valley Boys. The concert was only five bucks and that included all the Coors beer you could possibly hold. I was found later on in Waylon's bus with the man hovered over me wondering if I was still alive. Now THAT was "country."
