What if Your Favorite Pop Songs Were Recorded in the 80’s?

I am a child of the 1980’s.

Been there, done that. (And the t-shirt, etc., etc.)

So 80’s pop music holds a special place in my heart, so much so that I also do on-air at our sister station Awesome 98.

You can imagine the look on my face when a friend of mine told me there was a version of The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s song closer that sounds like the mid 1980’s.

I thought this was:

1. A Joke
2. A Cover Version

Well, I was wrong on both counts. Tronicbox is a YouTuber who has given the 1980’s treatment to several major stars including the Biebs himself.
