Lubbock was ranked pretty low on the list that uses different types of data to come up with their rankings.

The website WalletHub put together this interactive chart that actually compared the top 116 biggest cities.  Here's the data they used:

Average Workweek Hours
Labor Force Participation Rate
Commute Time
Workers with Multiple Jobs
Leisure Time Spent on an Average Day

Lubbock unfortunately ranked very poorly coming in at #92 on the list and the worst of all the cities in Texas.

Plano, TX came in third on the list and Irving was number five.

Now, this is not an exact science and to call these the "hardest working cities" is a bit presumptuous, but it make for interesting conversation nonetheless.
