Watch a Closeup of a Wasp Nest at Palo Duro Canyon [Video]

As temperatures rose up to 120 degrees on some of the temperature gauges, there was something else I noticed upon closer inspection.

I believe these are wasps making a nest.  I got closer than I probably should have but the seemed to be preoccupied. I've had a run-in with them before and it's not pleasant.

My wife was on her way to stand next to this one for a photo when I noticed the movement, I'm pretty sure if you bumped or stood to close they wouldn't bee too happy.
